Nationalize Tesla

I think Tesla home batteries have the potential to change the course by allowing normal American's to dramatically reduce their dependence on coal and nuclear power. The problem is that government subsidies or support for large scale adoption of this technology would amount to a public handout to private corporate interests. I say we nationalize Tesla and rollout home batteries for all.

Government & legislative action.

This would be the one of the most visionary things the government could do. Could it be a treasury backed buyout of the net worth of Tesla? Maybe its as simple as offering Musk a fancy desk at the department of Energy?

I agree- this is a game changer! Houses creating their own energy and storing it would be incredible.
